Why do some wax melts differ from others?

The quality of a finished wax melt comes down to several factors, such as:

• The type of wax used.
• How much fragrance oil is used.
• The quality of the scent oil.
• The density and composition of the wax.
• The process used to make melts.

Many wax melt sellers, buy the cheapest waxes and scent oils, and don't load the wax with much scent, this is to keep costs down and maximise their profits.

 
This is why you buy some melts you can't  smell anything, or they wear out really fast. Another common issue is that many small sellers will not refine the process they use, including monitoring and testing pouring temperatures and will over heat the wax and fragrance oils, meaning most of the scent is lost during the manufacturing process.

Our wax melts

We have tested our wax blends and oil combinations, as well as our manufacturing process for several months, and we have used a focus group, to feedback and improve our products, before releasing them. There really is no shortcut, and that is why we can proudly say our wax melts are as good as any the larger brands sell, and in many cases offer better quality and value!

 
We have blended our own wax to take advantage of several wax type characteristics. This means that when our melts are cold you can smell the fragrance, and when they are heated the scent will throw really well, also our blend of wax holds a high fragrance load which is released slowly, this is why our melts last so long.
