June 6th 2021 - Great Harwood Car Boot Sale
We were up at half 4 to attend our first stall at Great Harwood.
The staff were very professional and had us in place in no time and we found a good spot on the end of a row, and started setting up our whopping great Gazebo! (It looked a lot smaller in the photos when we bought it :-D)
We secured a bacon butty and introduced ourselves to our neighbours, then got to work trying to entice the buyers in.
It was a slow start as all the early buyers flooded in looking for second hand bargains and then the main crowd arrived at around half 9, and it got very busy for the next couple of hours, which was an amazing experience!
Our new wax melt jars were the star of the show, and we quickly sold out several of our scents.
Everyone loved Parma Violet, so we are going to have to make a few more for next week!
We met lots of people and stroked lots of dogs, and we had the best day ever!
Next Week
At this coming Sunday's Great Harwood CarBoot, we are going to bring some new scents along to our stall.
Gingerbread, Beachwalk, Citronella.
Vanilla, Fresh lime, Wild Fig and Cassis.
Candy floss, Peppermint, Watermelon.
Apple and Cinnamon, Chocolate, Cupcake.
Sea Breeze, Yuletide Spice. Blueberry Muffin.
Lemon, Tutti Frutti, Chocolate Chip Cookie, Pine.
Freshly cut roses, Spiced plum, Watermelon.
You can buy the scents in our easy-to-use jars which proved to be very popular yesterday!
We hope to add our jars to the website within the next week or so once they are all made up and photographed!
They will cost £4.00 per jar and each jar will last you around a week and will contain approx 110g of soy wax x
