We are Michelle and Billy, 

We fell in love with making wax melts during  the pandemic, we had always bought them and were frequently left underwhelmed on many occasions. We needed a hobby and found making wax melts to be quite therapeutic.   

The biggest problem we had when buying and burning melts, was that the scent throw was frequently underwhelming, and they didn't last as long as we'd hoped, and eventually we ended up with drawers full of various melts we were never going to use!    

Some of the larger brands didn't really offer great value for money, with single melts costing as much as £4.00, and the scent throws experienced, were either poor or short lasting.   

So we set out with a mission to create the kind of wax melt we would love, with a long-lasting, strong hot and cold scent throw, with a quality appearance, that offers real value for money. We want to be known for having the best smelling wax melts.

 

 

After trying all of the main types of  melt wax we had heard of, we had months of constantly hitting set backs and being frustrated by our results, almost to the point of giving up, until eventually our persistence paid off, and we managed to develop what we think is the perfect wax melt blend. 

Then we shared our new blend of melts with friends and family and the feedback was excellent, it was then that we wondered if we could try to make a living out of our passion, which would just be a dream come true!

    

We developed some packaging ideas, and came up with our logo and labels and decided to head down to our local market, and the response has been humbling, we have grown into a popular stall with repeat customers who love our melts. We want to create this website, to allow our existing customers to order online, and to try and grow our business further afield and give us a full time career.

After a very successful 2 years on Accrington Market, we opened our first shop on May the 6th 2023 in Accrington, at 15 Peel Street.  Michelle has now gone full time and we open Tuesday - Saturday 10am until 4pm.  

We wanted to open a shop so that our community have a place they can come to, put their feet up and have a good old natter about life's ups and downs. We have made so many new friends, and can't wait to see where our journey leads next!
